Gold Prospecting Tools v2 is a free Android app developed by GMH Software. Designed specifically for gold prospectors with their own detectors, this app offers a range of features to enhance the gold prospecting experience.

With Gold Prospecting Tools v2, users can mark the locations where they find gold, providing valuable insights into how the gold moves. Alluvial gold, in particular, tends to move in a straight line, and by marking the initial discovery, prospectors can identify potential areas for further exploration.

One of the key features of the app is the background logging service, which records the user's location while the app is running. This data is stored locally on the phone and is not shared or uploaded at any time, ensuring the privacy and security of the user's information.

While Gold Prospecting Tools v2 does not provide navigation functionality, it is recommended to create offline maps in Google for the specific areas where prospecting is taking place. This helps users navigate and explore the terrain without relying on an internet connection.

Additional features are available as in-app purchases, allowing users to further enhance their gold prospecting capabilities.

Happy prospecting!
