Gin Rummy is played with two players, at one time. One of them is the dealer, and the other will be known as the “itineraries."

Each player receives thirteen cards (ace, king, queen, jack), and two cards are dealt to every participant. Each player discards one card to the stock, and the remainder of the cards are placed face-down in front of the opponents.
