Genetec Mobile is a free iPhone application developed by Genetec that allows users to stay connected to their Genetec Security Center system from anywhere. This app provides access to video surveillance, access control, automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) systems, and more, making it easier for security teams to coordinate responses and handle threats.

With Genetec Mobile, users can access their Security Center core entities, including Omnicast video management, Synergis access control, and AutoVu ALPR. They can control PTZ cameras, view live and playback video, and add bookmarks. The app also allows users to lock and unlock doors, monitor access points, and add license plates to hotlists, receiving license plate reads and hits.

In addition to these features, Genetec Mobile offers collaboration tools to enhance communication among security teams. Security Desk operators can track mobile users on the map with geo-localization, stream and capture live video with their devices, and share it with other operators. The app also includes in-app messaging and Sipelia calling functionalities for initiating communications. Users can alert their team with hot actions such as manually triggering an incident, threat levels, public announcements, and more.
