GI 4.0® is a project that aims to develop a modern, user-friendly, and up-to-date electronic version of the paper version of the medication information sheet. The app was developed in collaboration with health care professionals and patient organizations.

The project was kicked off with the goal of making the paper version of the instructions for use (GI 4.0®) an electronic version that is easily accessible. The project also aims to make the process of downloading the latest, up-to-date information on a medication as quick and easy as possible. The app uses a scanning system to identify a drug and retrieve its information. The app also allows users to browse the latest information, and if they wish, to download it.
