A farming simulation game
Garlant: My Story is a single-player role-playing game that lets you manage a farm, start your town life, and befriend the villagers. In this game, you’ll play as a Falconeye who recently graduated from Disolance Falconeye Academy and doesn’t have any practical experience. Developed by Fit Studio, it’s available on PC and gaming consoles.
Garlant: My Story functions similarly to games like Kynseed, Littlewood, and Necesse, which gives a sandbox gameplay experience including life or farming sim. This game is set in the Kingdom of Disolance, specifically, the Doe region, where you’ll live a brand-new life.
Play as a Falconeye
Garlant: My Story’s plot revolves around Garlant, a quiet and peaceful village where you’ll build a fresh life, fulfilling your mission as a Falconeye. Here, players need to improve themselves using every resource and technique that they can access. They also need to work with the Doe Guild to restore safety and harmony in the nearby places of Garlant village.
In this game, it has been said that the Doe region has long been occupied by a wide range of monsters roaming around different areas. With this, you need to defeat these monsters. However, take note that only by ending the dominant boss can you secure the Garlant, which means that taking the enemies one by one can result in a long fight.
Moreover, you need to build different processing machines, which come in handy in crafting useful tools with the resources you can gather. You can also add gems to augment your equipment. Here, it’s your mission to build a manor as you play and progress in the game. However, as the game focuses on life simulation, it doesn’t offer a character development feature.
Start your new town life
If you like life-simulation games with simple gameplay mechanics, Garlant: My Story is a must-try game. Here, all you need to do is start a fresh life in Garlant village as a Falconeye, build your manor, and fight off monsters lurking around the village. To successfully finish and win the game, you need to take down the dominant boss of the monster creatures instead of just fighting them one by one, which can take a long time.
