The action of the game takes place in a modern city where illegal street races are held. The police officer in the game is faced with the task of identifying and stopping illegal street races and the participants in them. The races in the city are a lot more dangerous and challenging than the races in the previous games of the series. In this game, the police officer will have to deal with a great number of criminal gangs and they will be using all the weapons and vehicles that they have at their disposal to try and destroy the police officer and his mission.
