Fungipedia Lite is an educational and reference app developed by Asociación Micológica Fungipedia. This Android-based app is a comprehensive tool for mushroom enthusiasts, providing support for the correct identification of different species. The Lite version comes with 500 species and over 2000 photographs which will increase as the app gets updated.

One of the exciting features of this app is the ability to create your own private database with georeferenced mushroom spots on your phone. The app uses GPS to save the location of the spots, grouping them by zones. This advanced georeferencing system not only lets you save the location, but also add photos of the spot and includes a guiding system that takes you directly to the place the next time you visit the area.

Fungipedia Lite enables you to assign the spots you save to the mushroom species catalog. However, if you want to georeference a species that is not included in the app, you can create a new one. In future updates, advanced features will be added to facilitate the study of different mushroom species by groups of mycologists.
