The popular fruit game is back with Fruit Ninja 2. This arcade game will bring back your favorite slicing action with the addition of fun mini-games and real-time online competition. With this, you can challenge other ninjas from around the world and work your way up to become the Fruit Ninja Champion. However, you should be prepared to wait for ages to achieve your goal—especially if you don’t want to pay.

Fruit Ninja 2 brings to your devices the same fun gameplay of the original Fruit Ninja game. You will still need to slice the fruits that appear on your screen and avoid the bombs. The powerups are also still present to help you create combos, blitz, and other critical hits to increase your points. The original modes—Arcade, Zen, and Classic—are also making a comeback, allowing you to play solo. However, to change it up, the new version comes with a Minigame Shuffle and the rhythm slicing mode, Fruitar Hero. 

If you want to share the fun with your friends, though, you can jump into the online multiplayer mode. In it, you can play in PvP competitions with other players and slice your way up to the leaderboard. Be warned, though: the multiplayer mode will sometimes match you up with a higher-ranking player, and you could end up slaughtered. You can rank up by getting enough gold. However, gold is hard to come by. You will need to wait around 90 days to earn enough gold to improve. Of course, you can pay to get the gold you need.

Aside from the slow game progression, players will also need to watch out for bug issues. The leaderboard sometimes fails to save your high score. Moreover, some blade some upgrades in your blades sometimes does not reflect on your games. The game servers also frequently cut the connection, which ends up with the players losing the game or losing an item.

Fruit Ninja 2 not only brings the fun of the original slicing game but also added new functions to make your experience better. With the game, players can enjoy slicing fruits with friends. Moreover, they can enjoy different background locations and even new characters and character skins. However, it can use a bit more optimization as some technical issues can cause the player to lose their game.
