FrogID is Australia’s pioneering citizen science frog identification initiative, developed by the Australian Museum in collaboration with leading natural history museums and IBM. The app allows users to establish a profile, capture frog calls, and compare them to the app's database for identification. Subsequently, users can submit their recordings to Australian Museum frog experts for species confirmation.

By participating in FrogID, users contribute to mapping more frog species and monitoring changes in their habitats and populations over time. This effort aids in assessing the health of waterways. FrogID empowers citizens to engage in conservation efforts and scientific research through an easy-to-use mobile platform.
