The Case of the Invisible Wizard is the sequel to The Haunted Island, a Frog Detective. It follows the same gameplay as its predecessor, where players will spend time conversing with NPCs as they collect objects. Like the first game, this one will also have a short run time. 

A new mystery to solve

Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard follows the story of the frog detective from The Haunted Island. Here, a town's welcoming celebration for its new resident has been ripped to shreds by an unknown culprit. And as the detective, you are tasked to discover the culprit. However, the new resident is actually an invisible wizard, and the reason for the parade is to coerce her into visibility.

As with the previous game, you will solve the crime by exploring the town of Warlock Woods. You will collect objects and talk to the NPCs to help you find new clues. However, unlike in the first game, you will have a notebook, which you can use to keep track of your progress. You will also receive a magnifying glass, which has no use aside from making things bigger.

This sequel game has six achievements that you can unlock. Similar to its predecessor, the gameplay is very easy with basic puzzles. Among the six achievements, only two are missable, while two are mutually exclusive. Thanks to its simple puzzles, the gameplay is quite short. You can finish the game in about one hour. Players will also find the game design looks low-budgeted.

Overall, Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard is a game that will appeal to casual players. It is a low-budgeted game with simple mechanics and easy-to-solve puzzles. Its charm lies with its story and how the characters respond to your questioning as the detective. However, like the game that came before it, you only need at least an hour for you to finish the entire campaign.
