FocusProof is a Chrome extension designed to help users track and validate their concentration levels during study or work sessions. It utilizes webcam signals to detect face presence, along with keyboard and mouse activity, to assess focus based on the relevance of open tabs or domains to selected goals. The system generates a focus score, provides alerts for distractions, and maintains a session history while offering badges and downloadable PDF certificates with verification codes.

The core concept of FocusProof is to transform online study or work sessions into measurable, reviewable, and shareable data. Users can not only set focus timers but also obtain evidence of their concentration through scores, charts, certificates, and improvement suggestions. Emphasizing a privacy-first approach, the extension stores session data locally on the browser and uses the camera solely to detect face presence without capturing images or videos of users. Currently, it is available as an MVP/demo with essential features like real-time tracking, alerts, score evaluations, and AI-driven session analysis.
