Flugärger is a free Android app developed by Verbraucherzentrale Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V. to help air travelers get compensated for flight delays, cancellations, overbooking, lost or damaged luggage, and even self-canceled tickets. The app calculates the claims based on the EU passenger rights regulation and allows users to send a demand letter or generate a PDF to send to the airline. The app also automatically identifies the relevant arbitration board and pre-fills the form for the public transport arbitration board (söp). With Flugärger, users can organize the entire compensation process, including setting reminders, tracking claim history, and accessing comprehensive travel law information.
