EatOkra is a free Android app that connects diners with Black-owned restaurants, food trucks, and more. With over 12,000 listings in major cities across the United States such as New York City, Los Angeles, and Houston, users can easily search for restaurants in their neighborhood or beyond.

The app features filters to help you narrow down your search, such as distance, ratings, delivery, category, address, phone number, and website. Users can also order from their favorite delivery app to have food delivered to their doorstep or bookmark restaurants for later.

In addition to restaurant listings, EatOkra also offers a marketplace where users can shop for Black-owned snacks, condiments, sauces, and more. The app also features stories about the history of restaurants and foods from restaurant partners, as well as events like Black Food Festivals and brunch parties. Users can rate and review restaurants within the app and recommend businesses to feature on EatOkra, creating a community that amplifies awareness and creates equal opportunities for Black business owners in the food and beverage industry.
