One of its biggest improvements is the AcceleRATE system, which gives players different sprinting styles instead of relying almost entirely on raw pace. This creates more variety during matches and allows different player types to be effective depending on the situation. 

Hypermotion2 returns with smoother animations and more natural player interactions. In addition, tackles, interceptions, shielding, and off-the-ball movement all feel more fluid, while improved set pieces offer greater control over the ball's trajectory. The Power Shot mechanic of this football game also adds a satisfying risk-and-reward element to players, rewarding their precise timing with spectacular long-range goals during football games. 

Women's club football is also included, expanding the number of playable teams and adding more variety to the game's roster. Combined with responsive controls and improved AI, the overall gameplay feels polished and rewarding for both casual and competitive players. Meanwhile, Career Mode receives several welcome improvements without reinventing the experience.
