You play as the Courier, a young man (you can be male or female), who must navigate the settlement while fighting off the super irradiated creatures that have made their home in the dry wastes of the old Divide. You'll find that the weather is controlled by the environment, creating a completely realistic fallout experience. It creates a very real, almost eerie, feeling that makes you feel like you are really part of the world and experience the felling out of the old process.
