Federal Evidence Applied: Accurate Analysis of Evidence Admissibility

The Federal Evidence Applied app is a powerful tool for attorneys and judges in federal courtrooms. It provides a consistent methodology for analyzing the admissibility of evidence and testimony. This app is also valuable for law students, as it teaches them how to determine the admissibility of evidence according to federal rules.

With the Federal Evidence Applied app, users can select options related to the evidence or testimony in question. The app then evaluates the admissibility based on competency, relevancy, hearsay, authenticity, and best evidence. If the evidence is admissible, the screen lights up green; if it is inadmissible, the screen lights up red.

The app contains thousands of slides that guide users through the relevant rules of evidence. It categorizes the rules based on the proposed evidence, providing a step-by-step approach to analysis. The app offers six basic modes: Objection, Move to Admit, Rules of Evidence, Search, and Screen.

In the Objection mode, the app identifies 19 objections with 171 subtopics, helping users respond to and make objections. The Move to Admit function allows users to analyze the admissibility of specific evidence or testimony. The Rules of Evidence mode provides a rule-by-rule analysis, which is particularly useful for law students. The Search function allows instant access to hundreds of evidentiary terms, facilitating fast analysis in the courtroom.

Each screen in the app includes relevant rule buttons and displays the actual language of the rule. Users can also access Advisory Committee Notes for detailed legal analysis. The app features color-coded selections, with white indicating more selections are needed, green indicating admissibility, and red indicating inadmissibility.

Developed by lawyers David and Tyler Shroyer, the Federal Evidence Applied app is a comprehensive and user-friendly tool for accurately determining the admissibility of evidence in federal courtrooms.
