Fate: Palmistry & Face Magic is a free app themed around fortune telling. It includes a set of features designed to give inspiration, advice and fun.

Astrology has already inspired many apps like Astrolog and MB Free Astrology Birth Chart. However, this app aims to bring something new by using image filters to predict the future as well as more traditional star sign-based material.

Digital imaging filters

Fate: Palmistry & Face Magic has eight features across two categories. The first consists of image filters: take a selfie and use Future Me to see yourself at different ages. Animal Face shows which animal you resemble, and Gender Transition lets you see yourself as the opposite sex. Meanwhile, Baby Production lets you photograph two people and visualize the baby.

Horoscope features

The horoscope area of the app has the remaining features. Love Compatability details how different star signs get on with each other; Card of the Day gives you daily inspiration. Book of Answer is essentially a virtual fortune cookie. Finally, the Palm Reading feature works by taking a photo of your palm.

Eight novelty apps in one

Fate: Palmistry & Face Magic boils down to a set of eight novelty apps joined together by the loose theme of astrology and predictions. Some are basic: the digital aging feature is one of the more limited of its kind. The app doesn't accept uploaded photos, so you'll need to take a new selfie every time you use a filter.

Astrology for fun

The important thing to remember is that Fate: Palmistry & Face Magic is not intended for serious astrologers. There is very little about star signs here. Instead, the free app is designed for a bit of fun as users imagine their future. The novelty will soon wear off, however.
