FallrimTools is a free utility tool designed to help players modify modded savegame files. It's compatible with the Special Edition and Legendary Edition games for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. FallrimTools enables players to load, view, and edit the information stored in savegame files. The file changes will take effect after the game has been reloaded.

This mod combines two open-source software tools: ReSaver and Script Scalpel. These specialized gaming tools allow users to clean savegame files and fix issues that may have arisen due to corrupted files.

One of the biggest features of FallrimTools is its comprehensive search capabilities. A user can filter by a range of factors, including using regex (regular expressions).

Cleans scripts

The cleaning tools included with the mod allows user to clean out unattached scripts and undefined elements automatically. Unattached scripts are likely the result of previously removed mods that left behind unwanted code. Excessive orphan scripts can result in unwanted behavior.

A useful and capable tool

FallrimTools also allows for the exporting and importing of savegame data. Users can also edit scripts and terminate threads, giving them the required tools to rescue all but the most corrupted savegame files. The utility is also open source, meaning that you can freely modify and redistribute the code.
