Fable: The Lost Chapters is an enhanced version of the original Fable, originally released for Xbox and Windows PC. This Mac OS X port includes all the original content along with significant additions such as new monsters, weapons, and alignment-based spells. Players can also explore new items, armor, towns, and buildings, as well as engage in more interactions, like gifting objects to children. The game expands on its narrative with nine new areas and sixteen additional quests that deepen character development and storylines.

The gameplay experience is enriched with the introduction of characters previously in minor roles, such as Briar Rose and Scythe, now featuring prominently in quests. The antagonist, Jack of Blades, is given a more intimidating voice, enhancing the game's atmosphere. Additionally, the update resolves various glitches, ensuring smoother gameplay, such as fixing the notable “dig glitch.” This full version offers a comprehensive RPG experience for both new and returning players.
