Similar to PC-based packages, such as Torque Drift, players must compete against other NPCs. The objective is to cross the finish line first. The drifting nature of this game provides an additional challenge, particularly in controlling the vehicle throughout winding and often formidable courses.

Car skins and upgrades

While players are initially provided with a standard F1 racing car, it is possible to change its appearance. Thanks to in-game currency, new skins will be awarded over time. Likewise, this applies to upgrades that can be installed at occasional pit stops.

Each level contains four laps. However, it should be noted that the position of the driver's car is not displayed in relation to the course. Players will, therefore, have to memorize upcoming turns in order to predict what is just around the corner. This feature also contributes to F1 Drift Racer's overall difficulty.
