EvoCreo 2 is a premium role-playing PC game developed by Ilmfinity Studios. It’s a creature-collecting adventure set in a world where powerful monsters exist. In it, players will collect and train a team of these mythical creatures and engage in turn-based battles, while uncovering the mysteries of where they came from.

Comparable to Moonstone Island, EvoCreo 2 boasts a vast open world to explore and diverse creatures to encounter and collect. It also brings plenty of quality-of-life improvements over the first EvoCreo game that enhance the overall experience. New players can check out the demo for a preview of the gameplay.

Creature-collecting detective adventure

EvoCreo 2 takes place in the fantasy world of Shoru, wherein you play as a rookie cadet for the Shoru Police Academy force. You’ve been tasked with investigating mysterious disappearances of mythical creatures known as Creo. Take on over 50 unique missions that will take you to multiple locations across the continent, as you uncover ancient secrets while solving the case.

Assemble your team from over 300 wild Creos to encounter and capture, with over 100 traits and more than 200 skills to train them with. Each Creo has multiple color variants for completionists to hunt down and collect. Engage in turn-based battles with other trainers called Evokers, and rise through the ranks in the Coliseum and become an Evoking Master.

What’s more, this sequel also features online multiplayer gameplay, so you can test your skills against other players around the world in PvP duels. There’s no level capping, so you can train and grind as much as you can to get a power edge over opponents. That said, the game still needs more balancing tweaks, since some battle encounters have sudden difficulty spikes.

Fun and engaging

Overall, EvoCreo 2 is a solid follow-up to the first game and just a fun creature-collecting RPG adventure, in general. There are plenty of critters to capture and train, combat is engaging with many possible builds, and you’re not held back by level caps.
