EviCypher is a secure communication app that allows you to send encrypted files, emails, and instant messages. It is based on the EviCypher device for mobile phones and tablets, as well as for the web browser. The app allows you to send and receive messages with contactless encryption, even if the recipient is connected to another device, such as a tablet or a mobile phone.

How does EviCypher work?

EviCypher consists of two components:

The first component is the EviCypher device, an NFC (near field communication) device developed by Freemindtronic that is installed on your smartphone or tablet. It allows the creation of a contactless communication link between the device and a smartphone running the web browser extension, thus creating a secure communication tunnel between the device and the browser.

The second component is a piece of software that must be installed on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. It is a web browser extension that contains the encryption extension that we use to secure our instant messages, email, and social networks.

To use EviCypher, you must have:

You must have an NFC device;

A device running the web browser extension with EviCypher;

Your mobile, tablet, or computer; and

A compatible application for the website you want to visit.
