Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Heart of Russia does not introduce any new mechanics to the game. What the game offers is a new map that features centuries-old cities, deep forests, and open landscapes of the European Plain. Note, however, that since it's a DLC, it requires the base game of the popular truck simulator.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Heart of Russia is an expansion to the popular truck simulation game. As the name suggests, it adds a new map to the game. This time, it's bringing players to the largest country in the world, Russia. Behind the wheels of your huge machines, you can drive around and explore locations, such as the Volga and Ika Rivers and feel the spirit of Russian history.

As mentioned, there will be no changes to the gameplay. Same as the base game, the aim is still to carry out orders and drive around to deliver the goods to a specific location. With this, long-time players will not need any learning curve to understand how the game goes. Additionally, the DLC offers both single-player and online multiplayer modes.

Players will also have their choice of trucks from seven licensed brands and 15 unique truck models. The in-game economy also remains, allowing you to create and grow your transportation company as you see fit. However, as it is a DLC, players need the base game to enjoy the expansion. Moreover, it requires a high-performing gaming computer to enjoy a smooth experience.

Overall,  Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Heart of Russia is an expansion that's worth checking out. This app expands the map you can explore with your truck, bringing you to the historically-rich country of Russia. However, there are no other additions aside from new locations. The gameplay remains, and no new truck models are added to your choices. Nevertheless, it is still a good addition to the already awesome game.
