Ermentrud is a quirky adventure game developed by Timo Kloss. In this game, players take on the role of Ermentrud, a hero on a mission to rescue the kidnapped princess. Tasked by the king himself, Ermentrud embarks on a journey to save the princess and ensure she marries the prince of a neighboring kingdom, as is customary in the nobility.

As Ermentrud sets out on his quest, he discovers a trail leading to the mysterious Cabbage Heads from the hidden underworld. But how will he find these vegetable villains? What awaits him on the enigmatic island of Thyme? Will he uncover the root of all evil in the neighboring land of Vina-Beets? Can Ermentrud ultimately free the princess or will he be left to sip the lukewarm broth of destiny?

Originally developed for the Amiga between 2000 and 2004, Ermentrud was never fully completed. While it was not fully playable, it boasted nearly 40 locations and over 20 characters that were too good to be left unused. Thus, a plan was hatched to patch up the gameplay gaps and make the game playable on current platforms.

The result is an unfinished yet carefully patched-together adventure game!

Highlights:
