The epu app is designed to showcase users lesser-known places and guide them towards sustainable travel with respect to the surrounding nature. Along the routes, the app highlights interesting spots that might otherwise go unnoticed, allowing users to collect virtual species of plants and animals while learning fascinating facts through short anecdotes. Additionally, users can engage in entertaining quizzes related to each species.

Through smart notifications, the app informs users about entering protected areas, provides essential information on behavioral rules, and explains reasons for any bans or temporary restrictions. This educates users on respecting nature, enabling everyone to contribute to biodiversity conservation.

In collaboration with all Czech national parks and the Nature Conservation Agency, the app centralizes up-to-date information on national parks and protected landscape areas in the Czech Republic. Users stay informed about news, upcoming events, closures, and temporary restrictions. epu also offers a community platform for organizing volunteer activities, excursions, group trips, or reporting trail issues. The community serves as a space for sharing experiences and photos, allowing users to discuss routes and receive valuable advice from fellow travelers.
