Episod, from Episod Team, is a social TV tracking app designed to organize series watching and connect fans in one place. It helps people keep a running record of viewing progress and suggests titles to consider next, reducing time spent scanning streaming catalogs. The interface aims for a focused hub for viewing history and community interaction. Target users are TV series enthusiasts and binge-watchers who want a single spot to manage their habits.

How Episod slots into everyday viewing habits

Episod functions as a companion for regular series viewing, letting people retain a searchable history and maintain lists of shows to watch later. The app is positioned to shorten the decision loop by offering a curated view of trending shows alongside peer activity, so users spend less time picking what to watch and more time watching.

Where the app runs and what it requires

Episod is built for Android devices and typically requires Android 7.0 or higher to operate. It does not host or stream video, so it complements streaming services rather than replacing them. The developer provides an account-gated tier called Episod Premium that expands quizzes and profile customization, and removes ads for users who choose that level of access.

Community and engagement features that keep people returning

The app blends tracking with social mechanics. It offers a social activity feed, episode ratings and written reviews, interactive quizzes, and community polls for mood and cast voting. Those elements create season-long conversations and light competition, which the developer frames as a gamified layer to deepen fan engagement.

Privacy signals and development status to consider

Episod records viewing activity into user profiles to build feeds and recommendations, so the social features depend on shared data about shows and ratings. The project is in an early growth phase and the developer is based in İzmir, Türkiye; the user base is still forming, which affects the breadth of community-driven discovery available today.

To sum up, Episod fits Android-focused series fans seeking a social viewing companion

To sum up, Episod is a practical option for Android-based series fans who want a compact, social hub for recording habits and joining show-focused discussions; its currently growing community may limit recommendation variety for those seeking instant, broad peer discovery. Users who value a separate, dedicated tracker and light community interaction should find it useful.
