This free app was developed by the Irish Emigration Museum and it’s the world’s first digital museum. It’s a great way to learn about emigration, as well as discover more about Ireland and its people.

The app is an interactive experience. You’ll be guided through 20 different galleries. Each one will bring you face to face with the stories of Irish emigration. From the early days of colonization, through to the 19th century, and all the way to today.

You’ll see how emigration shaped the world we live in today, as well as how it affected the people who left. You’ll also discover the connection between the people who left Ireland and the people who live here today.
