eOsebna is a mobile application that enables contactless use of the electronic identity card. Its contactless connection works through the NFC protocol. The electronic identity card consists of three digital certificates on the chip of the identity card issued in the Republic of Slovenia. The digital certificate for signing and the digital certificate for high-level authentication are protected by a PIN code, while the digital certificate for low-level authentication enables access without entering a PIN code.

With eOsebna installed on your mobile device, you can log in to any service through SI-PASS, where you can choose to log in with your electronic identity card and the mobile application. You can also log in to another device, such as a personal computer, by scanning the QR code, without having to install or adjust anything.

The eOsebna mobile application enables you to manage, view, store, or remove your electronic identity card settings and details. You can activate your identity card, change its PIN code, or unlock it with a PUK code.
