Enhanced Quen is a mod that makes it possible to fall damage from falling or running into the water.

The way it works is that you can set the maximum height at which you can fall or be killed by the water and the shield will block the damage. If you fall from a higher height than this, you'll still be protected by the shield.

Now, the way this works is that when you set the maximum fall height, it'll be saved for that specific character. And if you change the character, it'll reset to the default.

It's not only a great way to save your character, but it also makes it possible to play the game with multiple characters.

And to save you from boredom, you can set it to be persistent. It'll keep Quen active during dialogue scenes and cutscenes.
