Emissary is a dark-themed, single-player campaign with an emphasis on stealth and tactics, featuring an original soundtrack and a unique art style.

It's set in the world of Thedas, a continent in the east of the continent of Ardent. The story begins with the player character, an assassin known only as the Emissary. The Emissary must prevent a group of darkspawn from spreading across Thedas.

The darkspawn are a race of human-like creatures who are blind to light. They are a twisted off-shoot of the original human race, and are considered one of the most dangerous enemies in the world.
