Emergency Response Liberty County is essentially a town and city roleplaying game that puts you in the driver’s seat of various emergency vehicles.

Strange vehicle mechanics

In order for a role-playing experience to be somewhat realistic, it needs to have assets reflective of the type of gameplay options it contains. Emergency Response Liberty County has three classes of vehicles; civilian vehicles, emergency vehicles, and rank-locked vehicles. However, there are very few vehicles in each class, and vehicles are not interchangeable between classes. 

For instance, when you take up an emergency services role, you lose access to the cars you bought as a civilian. These issues are particularly frustrating since the game is built around driving and operating various vehicles.

Emergency Response Liberty County has had numerous updates, all culminating in the marvel of emergency service simulation that you see before you. However, that doesn’t mean that the developer’s work is done. 

There is still much to do in terms of enhancing immersion and incorporating a more diverse automotive landscape into the game. That said, Emergency Response Liberty County is still incredibly fun to play.
