Emalix's Better Storage Containers is a 7 Days to Die add-on that allows you to craft loot containers similar to those found in POI's such as the Gun Safe, Ammo Pile, or Food Pile for use in your base as functional storage containers.

In a nutshell, it allows you to have all your weapons, ammunition, and other items stored in a safe. It also allows you to store all your food in a visible food pile or refrigerator, so you can keep it all in one place.
