eID-Me is a mobile app, a secure online identity, and a digital wallet for users to easily access services using their digital identity. It’s secure, convenient, and easy to use.

The eID-Me app uses biometric authentication to log you in and enable access to services. It’s an online identity and digital wallet that is bound to an anonymous identifier and your identity information.

eID-Me is the only online identity app developed by a regulated company in Canada. It securely stores government-issued identity information on your smartphone and helps you use your digital identity to access services online and offline.

Once you have downloaded the eID-Me app, it will generate a unique identifier for you that can be used to protect yourself online.

To register for the first time, you will need to provide your name, current address, driver’s license or ID card number, date of birth, gender, and one-time password.

All data is managed by eID-Me’s central server. It does not store, share, or use your data for advertising purposes.
