The Ehrenamtskarte Bayern app allows you to easily access the various discounts offered by public, nonprofit, and private providers in Bavaria. By using your location, this app allows you to view the numerous benefits available to holders of the Bavarian Volunteer Card.

Compatible with smartphones and tablets, the app provides an intuitive interface for accessing the current discounts available to Ehrenamtskarte holders. Introduced in 2011 under the motto "Volunteering is worth saying thank you for," the Bavarian Volunteer Card is a joint project of the Bavarian State Government and participating districts and cities in Bavaria. The card serves as a token of appreciation for individuals who dedicate their time to volunteer work for the common good. To be eligible for the card, individuals must either engage in volunteer work for a minimum of 5 hours per week or 250 hours per year for a minimum of two years, or meet one of the special criteria listed on the website.
