ECM2 is an Android app developed by Emergency Call Message Management that provides participating organizations with real-time emergency alerts and notifications. This app checks your device's email accounts to see if any of them are registered with ECM2. When a new incident is sent to your phone, you can choose to respond to it or not. If you are responding to the scene, you can choose whether to go directly to the scene or to the firehouse first.

ECM2 has several features that make it a valuable tool for emergency responders. The app has a mapping feature that allows you to view where the incident is located on your mobile phone. You can also get turn-by-turn voice navigation driving directions to an incident that you are responding to. If you need to know where the closest hydrant is to the incident, just click the hydrant button on the incident map, and it will show you where all the hydrants are in the set radius right on the map. Additionally, the app allows you to send out a communication to all the people currently in the distribution list, and they can either reply to the individual sender or to the entire list again.
