EchoFlow is a free AI app designed for users who want more control over how they interact with AI. Its privacy-focused approach keeps conversations and credentials on the device while supporting cloud-based and on-device models. The result is a flexible experience that feels personal, capable, and refreshingly independent.

A flexible AI app for your everyday tasks

One of EchoFlow’s strongest advantages is model flexibility. Users can bring their own OpenRouter key, choose from numerous models, and switch between them during conversations. The app also supports offline AI through downloadable models, making it practical when internet access is unreliable or unavailable.

Also, it includes web search, background deep research with cited reports, structured web data extraction, streaming responses, reasoning displays, and rich Markdown rendering. Its Material 3 expressive interface, theme choices, and customizable appearance also give it a distinct identity. However, this app requires your own API keys, which can be inconvenient.

An appealing AI mobile app

Overall, EchoFlow is an appealing option for mobile users who value privacy, flexibility, and control over their AI tools. Its combination of local storage, offline models, multiple model providers, research capabilities, and customization makes it more than a basic chatbot. For users comfortable managing API keys, it offers substantial versatility.
