Echo UW is an educational mobile application developed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Shared Apps. It offers detailed step-by-step instructions for performing a normal pediatric echocardiogram, utilizing video clips, images, and illustrations as instructional aids. The app targets sonographers at all levels of training, pediatric cardiology fellows, pediatric cardiologists, and individuals interested in mastering the normal pediatric echo exam. Echo UW features four standard views for image acquisition: Subcostal, Parasternal, Apical, and Suprasternal.

Users can follow each protocol sequentially by navigating through tabs at the bottom of the page or directly access specific numbered views within the protocol list. The app includes automatic pop-up instructions for each view and provides additional notes in the "NOTE" section at the bottom of the page.
