eC-Card is a mobile application designed for young people aged 16 to 24 in Essex, offering a confidential and convenient way to access free condoms and lubrication. The app is part of a scheme facilitated by the Essex Sexual Health Service and Thurrock Sexual Health Service, allowing users to collect condom packs from approved venues without the need for a clinic visit. This service is available to both young men and women who are sexually active.

To register for the service, users must watch three educational videos and complete a short quiz covering essential topics such as condom usage, STI risk reduction, and consent. Upon successful registration, users can scan a unique QR code at collection points to receive their free pack, which includes 10 condoms, 2 packets of lubrication, and instructions. Each user can request one pack every seven days, ensuring a discreet and accessible option for sexual health.
