A free tool for converting PowerPoint files to video files
E.M. Free PowerPoint Video Converter allows you to convert your PowerPoint files into video files where you may also add an audio track. This tool is very basic, but it still beats the other free tools that add watermarks, logos or web addresses. You need to buy the Pro version if you want to convert to more modern A/V file types.
Pros
- Allows you to convert to simple A/V file types
- Convert in batches with the Pro version
- Does not add watermarks or logos
- The user interface has self-explanatory buttons
Cons
- Re-configuring PowerPoint timing can be laborious
- The button-choice interface is rather old fashioned
- There are no post-conversion editing tools
- Aligning your audio file to the images is tricky
