e-carnet de maternelle is a free digital tracking application designed for teachers to store and instantly capture all types of documents such as text, images, audio, and video for each student in the class. The app is intuitive and adapted to young children who are active learners. The teacher can associate these traces with the expectations and/or observables established by the Ministry of National Educationprogram). The app automatically generates progress reports by grouping traces related to the same expectation.

The app offers several ways to transmit reports to parents, and the student is the reference point to track their progress over time. The app is in compliance with the official texts, and it is not a skills booklet (such as Synthesis of Acquisitions). The app is registered with the CNIL. The latest version of the app (1.8.9v101) released on March 1, 2021, includes several new features such as the ability to pre-select up to eight default observables and modify observable labels. Additionally, the latest version provides the ability to add tags to each observable to make it easier to select them in the grid. The app also includes bug fixes and various optimizations.
