An incremental mining game

Dwarf Eats Mountain Demo is a strategy-based mining simulation developed and published by Green Wizard for desktop gaming. In this casual title, you must hire dwarves with insatiable hunger for gold and use them to mine the said precious metals from the Great Mother, a massive mountain full of gold.

Illustrated in quirky pixel graphics, Dwarf Eats Mountain Demo delivers an incremental gaming experience with its clicker and idle mechanics, resource management elements, and engaging strategic mining gameplay. This cute arcade game also explores themes of fantasy, economy, and base-building, making player decisions central to both expansion and long-term success.

Mine and build

In Dwarf Eats Mountain Demo, hauling gold is the goal, and the Great Mother has plenty of it. Hire a wide range of dwarves and build various structures, each with unique abilities, to hit the mountain and deploy a bunch of Runners to loot all the gold and powerful artifacts that the mountain excretes. Then, use the resources to hire more dwarves, build more buildings, and create devastating synergies.

Collect more than 100 ancient artifacts, each with its own passive ability, and add them to your collection. There are also over 90 upgrades for your dwarves and buildings to utilize in getting gold. However, the more the Great Mother is hurt, the angrier it becomes and the more calamity it unleashes. So, be careful with mining and looting gold, as huge boulders can fall on the dwarves.

Currently, the game is only available in demo mode, allowing you to get a glimpse of the gameplay before its full release and decide whether purchasing the title itself is worthwhile. Unfortunately, since this is only the demo version, every aspect of the gameplay is limited, from the levels to the dwarves, and it does not provide a complete picture.

Incremental strategy title

Overall, Dwarf Eats Mountain Demo blends charming pixel visuals with satisfying incremental strategy, offering a playful yet surprisingly thoughtful mining experience. Between artifact collecting, upgrade synergies, and the ever-angry Great Mother, each decision carries weight. Though the current demo only hints at its full potential, it delivers enough depth and personality to intrigue strategy fans and idle gamers alike, leaving players curious for the complete release.
