DV Lottery Photo Tool is a free multimedia application developed by Arjen de Klerk and is a photography utility tool to help users take pictures of themselves, which must be submitted as one of the main requirements for the Diversity Visa Lottery / Green Card Lottery program by the USA. It ensures their images are aligned and meet proper size standards.

Solo photo-op

To start with the DV Lottery Photo Tool app, you can upload an existing photo from your gallery. You'll then proceed to the Photo Template section, wherein you will need to align your face and body to the correct position based on the on-screen guide to capture the ideal shot of yourself.

Alternatively, you can take a new photo, and the same guiding lines will be shown in real time to help center yourself in the frame before capture. It will also provide you with guidelines before taking a picture like having a white background and things you should and should not wear for the photo. On a side note, there have been no new updates in some time, but you can still use the app as it is.
