Durable is a tool that uses AI to design business websites from scratch. It is available as a free trial, although its full capabilities require a paid subscription. Features offered by Durable range from building the site itself to handling SEO and algorithms.

Durable aims to offer a faster and simpler alternative to established site-building services, such as Wix Website Builder and WordPress. The idea is that as much of the process as possible is handled automatically by AI. All you need to do is make some final customizations.

Choose a business type

Once you ask Durable to make a website for you, your first piece of information to input will be business type. The drop-down menu has a broad set of options, from accounting to yoga practice. If your business isn't listed, you can type it in. Next, enter the name of your business. If you still haven't decided, Durable offers suggestions.

A site created in seconds

After reading your input, Durable will put together an entire site for you. This will include relevant images, snippets of text, an "our services" list, a contact form, and even testimonials from satisfied customers. Once you register an account and log in, you will be able to customize each section of your new site.

Be wary of fake info

As with any such AI tool, the results can be variable. A lot of the information will be simply made up on the spot. For example, any testimonials provided will be fake statements attributed to non-existent people. The user will need to make extensive rewrites on any text.

A useful site-building tool

The tools offered by Durable will be useful for any business. However, anyone using the service as a replacement for hands-on site design will end up with a lot of errors that need fixing.
