You will need to keep an eye on the fuel bar, because if it hits zero, you will have to start from the very beginning. You can earn more fuel by hitting the gas pedal and avoiding the obstacles. 

The more fuel you have, the faster your car will go. But be careful! The fuel bar will also drain over time.
