Your goal is to make the dungeon as exciting and dangerous as possible, so heroes will want to come and explore it, all while you make money from their adventures.

In Dungeon Tycoon Prologue, you can summon and upgrade monsters to protect your dungeon, making it more difficult for heroes to reach the treasures. As they fight through your dungeon, you can learn from their actions, figuring out ways to improve the experience by adding new traps or stronger creatures. You also have the option to enhance the look of your dungeon. 

The game offers 14 days of gameplay and gives you a chance to experiment with a lot of different features. You’ll have access to four types of heroes, each with their own skills, and you can summon over 10 different monsters. There are many objects, items, and upgrades to unlock as you play, and it includes procedurally generated quests, meaning each time you play, it’s a little different. 

However, as a prologue version, the game offers only a fraction of the full experience, with limited playable days and fewer options compared to what the full version might offer. Some players may find the gameplay loop of dungeon building and observation repetitive after a while, especially since the core mechanics don’t vary drastically. It’s single-player only, which could be a downside for those who enjoy cooperative or competitive elements.
