Dungeon Odyssey, developed by Super Planet, is a labyrinth-growth idle RPG based on the original series. It follows Kim Jinwoo, a dungeon baby who rises from a lowly cave-dweller to become king of the labyrinth. The game also features 18 fan-favorite characters, including Dominique, the under-elf princess Rikshasha, and Angela.

Low-input combat, build customization, and labyrinth upgrades shape a progression loop centered on pushing deeper into increasingly difficult dungeon content.

Idle combat and labyrinth progression

The main gameplay loop sends players through underground labyrinths filled with waves of monsters, with a giant boss appearing every 100 floors. Combat supports one-handed play, requiring only a few taps while characters grow automatically.

Players can strengthen their builds by summoning and merging equipment, collecting relics, and devising elemental skill builds. When progress reaches a limit, they can give up their accumulated power to upgrade the labyrinth and continue with newfound strength. This creates a repeating cycle of growth and renewed advancement as players work toward deeper layers.

Outside the main dungeon climb, Dungeon Odyssey includes Daily Labyrinths, the Overlord’s Citadel, the Trial of the Abyss, the Underground Vein, and Labyrinth War. These activities provide additional challenges alongside the core progression loop, giving players more content to tackle as their characters and builds become stronger.
