Dune Control is an Android application designed to enhance the user experience for Dune HD media players and set-top boxes. This free app replaces traditional IR remote controls by utilizing a Wi-Fi connection, enabling users to automatically discover and manage multiple Dune HD devices seamlessly. Users can easily switch between devices and control them from their mobile devices, making it a versatile option for media management.

The app features a Navigator function that allows browsing and selecting media content through the Dune UI displayed on the mobile device. Users can access various sources, including local and network options, and manage their favorites and recent views. The Now Playing feature provides real-time information about the media currently being played, allowing for easy control of playback functions such as play, pause, and volume adjustments. Note that some features are only available on the latest Dune HD models with updated firmware.
