While Dubsmash itself no longer exists as a standalone app, its updates and evolution remain part of recent digital history. Reddit acquired Dubsmash in December 2020 and later integrated its video creation tools into Reddit’s broader video sharing features. The separate Dubsmash app was officially shut down in February 2022, and its content and URL now redirect to Reddit, ending the independent chapter of this beloved app.
