A free tool to update drivers
A simple tool for updating your drivers
Faulty drivers can be a pain in the neck for computer users. You’ll be using your computer and everything’s fine and then one day, nothing works properly. When things start to go awry with your computer system, the first thing you should check is the status of your drivers. You can go and check them manually one by one, but the best way to deal with faulty drivers is by using special software especially mean for checking drivers. Driver Doctor is one such program. It is a nifty little tool that can check the status of your drivers, download, and update them.
It’s always annoying to have to sit through a long and tedious installation process. Fortunately for everyone involved, Driver Doctor has no such problems. The installer file is small so it didn’t take a long time. There were no additional programs required to be downloaded in order to make the program work. Just install it and you’ll be running the program at once.
The design of the program is also worth praising because it’s simple, cohesive, and professional. It has a black and blue color scheme that’s easy on the eyes and looks modern. The interface is also intuitive and well executed. The window is divided into three tabs: Scan, Download, and Settings. The Scan tab is the first screen of the software and it contains a large button with the words, Scan Now. Below that button is your machine’s System Information. It’s a massive help to users that you’ll be able to see what your Operating System, Memory, Processor, and Motherboard is. The Download tab is where the results of your scan will be displayed. The Settings tab contains customization options.
The scanning process is quick and easy. All you have to do is click the Scan Now button on the Scan tab. Wait a few seconds and the results of the scan will be displayed in the Download tab. From the Download tab, you’ll be able to see which drivers need to be updated. There are usually Download and Install buttons beside the drivers, so the users can choose which drivers they want to modify. Additionally, if the driver update already exists in the computer, all the users have to do is to click install and the driver will be updated. Clicking on the driver in the Download tab will prompt a dialogue box that contains information about that driver. If there are some drivers that you’re not going to modify, you can also choose to hide the item from the list so that it doesn’t distract you.
It would be absurd to check, download, and update drivers individually. The process would simply take too much time and effort. Thankfully, there are software like Driver Doctor that can update drivers for you. This program makes updating drivers a quick and painless process. It’s also highly intuitive and easy to use. If you’re ever in need of a software to make updating drivers easy, be sure to check out Driver Doctor.
