Dragon Warriors Ball Z is a 2D fighting game app that lets you play through the original events of the Dragon Ball Z series. Fight characters from the series and experience the Super Saiyan transformation. This game is created for otakus everywhere. 

Like Any Other Combat Games

Dragon Warriors Ball Z lets players become a Saiyan warrior in the Dragon Ball universe. However, the gameplay for this app is very much like other combat games. The game is a fight between characters from the anime series, and you need to win in order for you to get coins and rewards. These coins and rewards are used to unlock characters and shop for power-ups. 

The game consists of four modes, Versus, Arcade, Survival, and Training. The versus mode allows you to choose your character as well as your enemy. First-time gamers are only given Son Goku and Vegeta as characters and would have to unlock other characters from the game’s shop. 

Like the versus mode, the arcade mode also allows the player to choose their character. However, the enemy will be randomly picked by the system. This goes with the survival mode as well, although the difference is you will have to fight endless enemies. Once you have defeated the first one, a new enemy will appear. The training mode, on the other hand, lets you train your character’s skill by fighting other characters. 

Fight Like a Saiyan

This game offers various characters from the Dragon Ball Z saga, including Vegeta, Majinbu, Piccolo, Gohan, and of course Son Goku himself. The game equipped each character with special attacks that are seen in the anime series. This means, more than the typical kicks and punches, you can also use Kamehameha or Ki Blast to defeat the enemy. You can even use the kaioken to power up your character. 

But what makes this game even cooler is the fact that you can transform your character into a Super Saiyan.  Yes, you read it right. The game allows the characters to transform beautifully from Super Saiyan 1 to Super Saiyan God. Each transformation also comes with full skills to bring you the ultimate Saiyan battle. 

Old School Combat Game

Dragon Warriors Ball Z is like tripping down memory lane when it comes to its design and graphics. The game's interface looks like that of an old school combat game. The graphics, although quite colorful, are pretty basic and lacks the aesthetics that other popular Dragon Ball games such as Dragon Ball Legends and Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle has.  But if you are looking for a straight-up fighting game, this app might be good for you. There are no unwanted graphics that pop up while you are playing, and the life bar does not take up much of the screen, providing more space for characters to move around. The controls are also very straight forward, so you don’t have to memories combinations in order to use your character’s special attacks.
